DAY 1

Transfer from Maun Airport to Okavango Delta 

From Maun you will enjoy a 20 minute scenic trip towards the eastern part of Botswana with a flight– the famous Okavango Delta. You will spend your first night of your safari in the Oddballs Camp.
Oddballs is situated on the edge of Chief's Island, deep in the heart of the Okavango, bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is accessible by light aircraft only. On arrival, you are met at the airstrip by your personal guide and welcomed to the island. He remains your guide for the duration of your stay.
Accommodation is in 3m x 3m dome tents, fully equipped, and set on elevated wooden decks shaded by reed shelters. Each tent has its own, semi-detached bathroom with hot and cold running water and an al fresco bucket shower – in true safari style.
Settle in, enjoy the remoteness and stunning vistas.

DAY 2

DAY 2 - 3

Makoro Trail in the Okavango Delta

Today you will set off for the following 2 nights into the Okavango in a traditional Makoro (a dugout canoe) with your camping equipment and guide. The Makoro rides are combined with bush walks for better game viewing. Oddballs Makoro Trail is one of the greatest wilderness adventure camping trails of the world.
Hop into the boat with an experienced boatman, a mine of knowledge on the waterways and the wildlife, as he punts you through the delta. Amazing game sightings and endless water are seductive and you will fall in love with the magic of the delta. Watch the sunrise, enjoy a delicious bush brunch and a dinner under the starry sky. A sundowner stop on a small, unexplored island will bring a close to your unique adventure – pure Africa.
It is home to a large variety of game from Big Five (excluding the Rhino), hippopotamus and crocodile, as well as giraffe and antelope including the rare lechwe, tsessebe and sitatunga. The delta is a birding paradise with over 450 species.

DAY 04

Okavango Delta 

After the exciting 2 nights on the Makoro Trail, you return to the Oddballs Camp for a last night. Discuss the fascinating experiences and sightings of the previous days with your co-adventurers by the camp fire - great memories that will last for a life-time.

DAY 5

Transfer from Okavango Delta to Chobe National Park

Catch your transfer to Thebe River Lodge Safari Camp, where you will spend the following 2 nights.
Thebe River Lodge is located just close the Chobe National Park. It is a small, intimate camp of 4 Meru tents accommodating a maximum of 8 guests in comfort and style. The tents have been positioned to ensure privacy and a modest level of exclusivity throughout the camp. Each tent sits on a platform, with views over the Savuti Channel. The tents are large and spacious with en-suite facilities and views from your deck. In the guest areas, there is a comfortable and intimate lounge, bar and dining area, all overlooking the Chobe River. Enjoy game drives and great birding.

DAY 06

Chobe National Park

The activities on offer are morning and afternoon game drives through the park and along the fringes of the Channel and Marsh. The game-viewing vehicles are open to facilitate game-watching and photography, and your guide will delight in showing you the beauty and diversity of Chobe natural wonders. This area offers superb game and birding-viewing in the open areas within Chobe National Park.

DAY 07

Transfer from Chobe to Victoria Falls

You will be transferred from Botswana to Shearwater Village in Victoria Falls Zimbabwe. You will spend the following 3 nights at Shearwater Village exploring the mighty Zambezi River, the National Park and Victoria Falls.
Shearwater Village has 22 twin dome tents.

Settle in and decide with your guide, which activities you want to do the next days. There are many activities available such as game drives, bush walks, water activities, guided tour of Victoria Falls (Victoria Falls National Park fee not included), village visit to Sidobe.

DAY 08 - 09

Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls provides a wealth of opportunities for game drives and bush walks with experienced guides. The Zambezi River itself invites for exploration by inflatable canoe or motorised boats. Go fishing, stop for an island picnic along the river or go on a sunset cruise and enjoy your sundowner. Elephants can be found loitering on the mainland or in the river, while hippos, waterbucks and bushbucks frequent the reed banks and islands. Lions can be heard calling at night and the birdlife is prolific – African fin foot, African skimmer, pratincoles and Pel’s fishing owl all occur at Victoria Falls.
Visit the mighty Victoria Falls and its surroundings. Optional at extra cost, also enjoy the many activities offered at Victoria Falls, such as white water rafting, flying fox and bungee jump.

DAY 10

Transfer to Victoria Falls Airport

Enjoy the last breakfast and possibly another morning activity on the last day of your safari. Then you will be transfered to Victoria Falls Airport by car in time for your onward connecting flight.
